Yei Interpretation progress
All six of the Yei are now on the piece. I am working on the hardanger dresses now. It's a fairly large piece. I haven't decided what kind of border it will have yet but it's still a long way from being done so I guess I don't have to make that decision right away.
Awesome ... cross cultural ... Scandinavian meets Native American ... what a wonderful world this embroidery encompasses. Your use of color is also wonderful. Susan
I am a passionate embroiderer who enjoys blackwork, cross stitch, hardanger and needlepoint. I've done some quilting and love trying new embroidery techniques. I collect amethyst and other rocks. I'm an American who has lived in Germany for over 30 years.
